Melissa will give a short talk introducing the background and basic elements of the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga practice, followed by instruction through the foundational postures of the practice - Surya Namaskar through the Standing Sequence.
Anyone new to yoga or just new to Ashtanga will benefit from this workshop, coming away with a deeper understanding of the practice, and a strong foundation from which to begin their exploration into this profound way to practice yoga.
